Alsym Na-series batteries achieve a Round-Trip Efficiency (RTE) of over 95%. This is a critical performance metric for utility and industrial operations because it minimizes energy loss during the charge and discharge cycle. High RTE directly improves the project's economics by ensuring that more of the energy purchased or generated is available for use.
While traditional lithium-ion batteries suffer from reduced capacity in the cold and accelerated degradation in the heat, Alsym's NFPP+ chemistry is thermally robust. It maintains stable performance across a wide window of -40C to 60C. This means the system provides consistent power output without the need for energy-draining HVAC systems to keep the battery bank within a narrow operational "sweet spot."
The Na-series is designed for high-throughput performance, supporting continuous 2C charge and discharge rates and 30-second pulse rates up to 6C. This high power density allows Alsym batteries to react to sudden shifts in electrical loads from industrial machinery or high-density AI data centers.
